DOWNTOWN CRITERIUM

DOWNTOWN COURSE

8 corners sounds scary until you realize these are nearly all "full speed" corners you can pedal through. Trust your tires and follow wheels.

Holding wheels is CRITICAL! Lower categories- select which wheel to follow carefully, otherwise this can turn into a lonely solo TT quickly.

The stepped climb coming back up to the finish from Corner 8 is your best bet to move up, as once the pack makes the Funko Turn at Corner 2, it's a roller-coaster ride of turn after turn all the way to the bottom with little opportunity to move up.

Don’t let the word “climb” scare you either. It’s never steep and is really a couple of blocks long with a break at the cross street.

This one almost always comes down to a reduced bunch sprint, so don’t miss the move.

Numbers go on the right for this course, and please be sure to visit the businesses and restaurants lining the course and sharing their streets.

Please avoid parking near the start/finish area to allow non-racer customers to get to the businesses. Your best bet for parking is typically going to be towards the Northeast area of this course, near Corners 6 and 7.
