Grand Ave Course

Once a year, these quiet neighborhood streets give way to the unmistakable “woosh” of deep-section rims. Beautiful homes overlook the Everett waterfront and Port Gardner Bay beyond, but you won’t notice the view while racing.

Being on the bluff, this course definitely sees some wind coming off the water, particularly as the day goes on.

The finish line kicker gets most of the early attention, but experienced racers will tell you that Corner 4 will make or break your race (literally in some cases).

Watch for attacks to go in the moments just after the finish as aggressive racers look to snap the elastic after each time up the hill.

This course is almost always won from the break, and as the finale of the 2026 edition of EPO, expect gaps to form early and often across all categories. You can’t climb the Omnium podium steps without the legs to hang on just a bit longer than the rest. Start doing your 30/30s now and pin your number on the left.

Parking for grand ave

While street parking is generally available near the course, parking within two blocks of the course is reserved for the local residents. Please help us partner with the neighborhood to ensure that residents who are impacted by the race course have plenty of parking and access throughout the day.

For the Grand Avenue course, parking is also available off of West Marine View Drive at the waterfront, where the pedestrian bridge connects you to the north end of the Grand Avenue Park.

Teams are encouraged to set up their tents along the start/finish straight on Grand Avenue, either in the park or in the grass on the east side of Grand. Please leep sidewalks clear as not everyone loves bike racing!!

We plan on having food trucks available for this course, with specific trucks TBD.
