Resident information

Residents

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your neighborhood to promote cycling and healthy lifestyles and habits - it means the world to us! None of this happens without your help and suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to contact us before, during, or after the event.

What to Expect

We plan to close the streets around the race course 90-minutes before racing begins to allow for course set-up and race prep. ALL CARS MUST BE OFF THE RACE COURSE AT THAT TIME!!!

  • On Saturday, July 12th, at the Grand Avenue Course we will be closing the roads at 10:00 AM.
    (Detailed information specific to the
    Grand Avenue neighborhood below.)

  • On Sunday, July 13th, in the Riverview Neighborhood we will be closing the roads at 7:30 AM.
    (Detailed information specific to the
    Riverside neighborhood below.)

  • We will do everything we can to avoid towing cars by trying to contact the owners. If we are unable to contact the owner, cars will be towed if necessary.

If you have further questions you can find more information about the race using the links at the top and bottom of the page, or visit us on Instagram @Everett_Performance_Omnium.

There will be food trucks and other vendors on hand at both courses to try and create a festival atmosphere. There will be an announcer with a public address system commentating on the live action during the races and engaging the public. If you have a local volunteer group that would like to be part of the racing weekend and would like to set-up a table, please reach out. We would love to make space for you and help promote the community.

Feel free to ask questions of racers or volunteers (most of whom are also racers who have either already raced or are waiting for their race). If they don’t have the answers they will try to direct you to those that can answer your questions.

Car Crossings

Access to homes along the race course the day of the racing event will be limited. However, if you must enter or exit the course area during the day of the event please contact the Race Director (or a volunteer at one of the corners) so that we can facilitate crossing the course. Entering or exiting will be at the discretion of the race officials, anticipate that there may be a delay until an ongoing race is completed so that the course is clear and it is safe.

The YELLOW lines in the maps below indicate preferred locations for cars to cross the race courses.

  • Grand Ave - either end of the alley between Grand and Rucker.

  • Riverside - from north to south

    • 20th St to cross either Pine or Maple.

    • Alley between Leonard Dr and 21st St to cross Cedar St.

    • Alley between 21st and 22nd St to cross Pine St.

Parking

The RED lines of the maps indicate race day areas reserved for residents. We have asked the racers and spectators to park at least 2-blocks away from the course (most of them have bikes, after all) so that residents within the course can park outside the course before racing begins. (For safety, we need to minimize cars crossing the course throughout the day.)
